Reflection
In our project we had our ups and downs. One of the things would be that when we were pacing the park we used all of our paces while pacing the perimeter. This was a bad thing because we did not average out all of our paces. One of the good things that went well was how e and my team worked together and with the other teams as well. In conclusion, if I could improve this project, I would make it have way more time to measure things out and collect data.

Rocket Project
Rocket Reflection
Some of our ideas were not able to get on the rocket because that involved a lot of refinement time; time that we did not have. We wanted to put on bigger fins but we did not get to that part of the project and we also would have liked a better nose cone because it was rounded not pointed.
I thought the exhibition was cold, and I was watching from the bathroom door. It was very scattered but fun because we were able to watch everyone else’s rockets and see how they did.
I would like to have changed the fins because they are incredibly small, and they did not help our rocket at all. I would also have like to have gotten a better nose cone, because it was horrible and we did not have enough time to make any modifications, or make a new one.
What went well was that it got off of the launching pad. The bad part was that it was not a very good rocket, the rocket started to go sideways and hit the ground. It was a failure; ‘The Oooh’ has been disowned by me and my partner Rowan.
I would find a better design and I would get more materials so I would not have to worry about taking the limited supplies that we had. I would also make sure that we had all of our work done and NOT lose all of our work, like our parachute(s), our extra water bottle, and make sure our fins are not getting stolen.
This exhibition could have been more refined by doing it earlier in the year so it is not as cold, and I would have had more time be able to decorate my rocket, because the name does not make sense without our beautiful drawings on it.

The Physics Behind the Rocket
This project demonstrates Newton’s 3rd Law. Newton’s 3rd law is every force has an equal and opposite reaction. So the amount of force coming out of the bottle (the water) is the amount of that is pushing on the top of the bottle, making the bottle shoot upwards.
We filled the rockets up with water to make the force stronger. Water has more mass than oxygen so the rocket would fly higher. If we just filled the bottle with just air the bottle would shoot up (a little) just no were near as high as it did with Water. I think that’s because since water is denser it doesn’t take as much water to make the rocket shoot up as it would with oxygen. That’s just my opinion though.
